MULTiLOG ™

Temperature data logger connected to a PC with up to 16 sensors.

The MULTiLOG is a temperature monitor with 16 sensors that connects to your PC. Capable of recording a total of 2,000 readings at user determined time intervals. Sensor leads can be up to 200m long and the MULTiLOG will continue to log data even if the computer is switched off. Warning of wayward temperatures is provided by an audible signal from the PC or from the on-board sounder. An auto-dialer can be connected which will dial out to a telephone or pager to warn of out-of-hours alarm conditions. The sensors can be configured as digital sensors i.e. Open/Shut, On/Off for example, to indicate whether doors are open or closed at the time temperatures were recorded. Software controls the configuration of the MULTiLOG and printing of temperature reports. The MULTiLOG uses thermistor sensors to monitor temperatures in the range -30°C to +70°C (22°F to 158°F). at an overall accuracy of +/- 0.3°C

See details of the GSM AUTOdialler which can send warning of alarm conditions for sites with no landline telephone connection.

The MULTiLOG is used by food manufacturers and distributors, schools, hospitals, hotels and roadside restaurants and vaccine stores for monitoring fridges, freezers and cold rooms.

FAQ

1. Why does the MULTiLIG not download data and the PC cannot 'find' a MULTiLOG? - Check the obvious things first like cable connections to the serial ports then suspect the MULTiLOG logging battery needs replacing. Use ONLY 3.6V Lithium thionyl-chloride batteries as a replacement.

2. How do I get the most life out of the main logging battery? Increase the time interval used in Instant Monitor (In MULTiLOG Set-up). This is how often the sensor temperatures are uodated. Every 10 minutes will probably be often enough and this will have the effect of using less power from the battery thus extending its life.
